FieldEase - Remote Data Entry
FieldEase is a new paperless processing system from ComputerEase. Project managers are able to process documents in the field electronically. No more paperwork means the wasted time on chasing down paperwork is over.
The new electronic processing of documents is done either on a laptop or on a tablet PC’s. The best part is handwritten recognition is available on the tablet PC. Timesheets, purchase orders, work orders or any custom document can be processed with handwritten instructions. No more hunt and peck on a clumsy keyboard.

ELECTRONIC TIMESHEETS
Entering timesheets electronically in the field means entering time once. After the project manager completes his timesheet on a laptop, it is emailed back to the home office. The best part is the hours are posted automatically to payroll and Job Cost. No more duplicate entry. Getting payroll out can now be done in half the time.
INVOICE ROUTING AND APPROVAL
ComputerEase has added a simple to use document management system to an already robust accounting and project management system.
Document scanning and routing to project managers for approval is a great timesaver. No more lost or destroyed paper copies. Once a document is scanned into accounting it is off everyone’s desk for good. The project manager is given notice that a document is awaiting his approval. After reviewing the scanned invoice and any document needed for approval, the PM simply indicates status of approval and emails back to the office. No paper chase.
ELECTRONIC WORK ORDERS IN THE FIELD
Preparing work orders electronically in the field means more work orders finished per day. The technician is able to prepare the work order when the work is complete. The system recognizes written signatures for both the tech and the customer. No question of approval for invoicing. The tech is able to use handy pull down menus showing parts and labor rates. He merely points and clicks to enter data into the correct field. Once the work order is complete, it is electronically sent to the home office for billing. Invoicing is a one step confirmation of the work order.
ELECTRONIC PURCHASE ORDERS
A project manager is able to prepare a purchase order in the field and send it electronically to the supplier and to the home office. The accounting system is updated automatically when the PO is sent. The hassle of preparing and approving purchase orders is over. The material list is available for lookup with a drop down box. By simply looking up an item, the project manager is able to point and click to enter the item onto the purchase order. Purchase orders can also be electronically hand written in the field. One entry PO’s cut out the paper work.
FORMS AND NOTES
Forms and notes is a new and unique tool for use in the field. Any form in the company can be made available on the PC in the field. For example, your company’s change order form can be filled out electronically. You are even able to handwrite the information which is then turned into an electronic file. Once a form is complete, special instructions can be handwritten to accompany the form and made a permanent record. Even handwritten drawings can be attached to the form.
